As an exhibitor in this year's Royal Academy's Summer exhibition I've had the opportunity to view the show a couple of times in the past week. The highlights for me have been the Photography room, room VIII (showing work that includes Chuck Close and Rodney Graham), and the room dedicated to Grayson Perry's new tapestries. On my second visit many of the individual works I had liked on Varnishing Day had already sold and the room showing editioned prints had sold particularly well. There are 4 private views before the show opens to the public on 10 June which is a great opportunity to take friends around for free and look at the exhibition in more detail.
