Another busy month. Took part in Photofusion’s SALON/21 artists’ talk early in August along with Tamsin Green, Maria Ahmed, Mathushaa Sagthidas, Mark Phillips and Victoria Ahrens. It was great to hear about the other artists’ projects.
XLVI Space
The graduate photography exhibition, NEXUS, curated by XLVI Space was launched - a really well thought out online showcase with work divided into three thematic rooms. The show got a mention in the British Journal of Photography. Happy to be included, and more news to follow next month.
I applied for a place on the East Meets West Masterclass Programme which is all online this time. A few friends had taken part last year and highly recommended it. I have been offered a spot and it starts in mid-September.
Video capture
I spent much of the first half of the month editing my video, Chalk, and had a rough edit which I circulated to my photography peer group. Received some good comments, and I will return to work on it again in a week or so.
Finally, I’m involved in a couple of other things which will launch in September so will return to those in next month’s post.
