I was pleased to have been able to take part in Photo London again in May, this time at Kensington Olympia. I was in the publishers section with the PhotoBook Club Collective showing my Chalk zine, and a print from my Disrupted Landscapes series. Like many people I know, I wasn’t sure how the transition would be from Somerset House, but it was a positive experience and seemed to be viewed as such by everyone I spoke to.
I have not been photographing since the trip to Scotland but have another journey planned next month so hope that will inspire me to use the camera again. One of the photographs that I took in Scotland will be exhibited over the summer, which is good news. I also have had one of my videos selected for an upcoming festival. The past couple of months I have been writing instead of photographing, as well as scanning lots of negatives and prints, and perhaps this will become something that can be shared.
